Easter dessert with cheese and chocolate
Recipes for family meals
For the Easter meal, I chose an Easter recipe with cheese and chocolate. I had as a source of inspiration the Polish Easter from Mirela, to whom I also thank a kiss.
I also modified the recipe here and there: I also put cream in the composition and I mixed the egg whites separately (to be fluffier) and I added less sugar (because we don't like very sweet cakes. If you want you can add more sugar in the composition.
- For the countertop:
- 1 or
- 50 g sugar
- 100 g butter
- 150 ml of milk
- 150 g white flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- For the filling:
- 700 g of cottage cheese
- 120 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100g cream
- vanilla essence
- 50g semolina
- 100 g raisins
- For the glaze:
- 120 g of dark chocolate
- 50 ml milk
Preparation time: less than 90 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Easter dessert with cheese and chocolate:
Mix the egg well with the ground sugar and a pinch of salt. When it has doubled in volume, add the butter at room temperature, mix well, then pour the milk. Separately, mix the flour with the baking powder and cocoa, then add the mixture and mix well. Pour 3/4 of the composition into a round tray with removable walls (23 cm), lined with baking paper. Put the tray in the preheated oven at 180 degrees C for 12 minutes.
Cream: Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
Mix the cheese with the ground sugar, the yolks and the cream with a vertical blender. Add the vanilla essence and the beaten semolina and egg whites and mix gently. Finally add the raisins.
Remove the tray from the oven and pour the cheese, and on top, put the rest of the composition on the counter. Put the tray back in the oven and leave for about 50-60 minutes until it passes the toothpick test. Allow to cool in the pan, then transfer to a plate.
Put the chopped bitter chocolate in a kettle, together with the milk and leave it until it melts and blends. Grease the Easter cake with chocolate icing.
Leave it in the fridge for a few hours and serve.
I mixed the egg whites separately (to make the cream cheese fluffier)
I think the countertop composition should be divided into 2 equal parts, because being a little composition on top cracked.
