OVEN CARP (IN CORN CRUST)

I leave you the list of ingredients and you adjust the quantities, depending on the number of appetizers at the table:

INGREDIENTS

I washed the fish well, dried it with paper towels, salted it, then rolled it in cornmeal and placed it on a non-stick pan, in which I had sprayed cooking oil. If you do not have a non-stick tray, invest 60-80 lei in a good one, it is fully worth the investment. But until you buy, you can use baking paper.

I heated the oven to 200 degrees.

Before putting the tray in the oven, I sprayed each piece of fish with oil. A little, enough to brown nicely. It is recommended to use a sprayer to adjust the amount and use very little oil!

I cooked the fish for about 20-25 minutes, until the crust turned golden.

It is much better and healthier than the fried version!

For an authentic Sunday lunch, we served with polenta and the best garlic sauce.

In the same way you can prepare different fish, the recipe works every time!

Fish in Susan's Crust

If you have fish, it's easier, but if you have whole fish you will have to remove the fish.

Threading over:
The head of the fish is cut off, its wings and cleaned well inside. Cut on the back horizontally with a very sharp knife, above the string. Cut easily with a knife, cutting evenly over the bones until we remove the fillet. After the fillet has been removed with tweezers, remove the remaining bones.
We do the same with the other side of the fish, for remove the net.

The fish fillet is portioned in the right pieces and then seasoned on both sides with salt and vegeta. Attention: Salt and vegetables are put according to everyone's taste!

In three separate bowls put well beaten eggs, flour and sesame.

The fish is first passed through flour, then through egg and finally through sesame. After it I passed it through the three ingredients, it is fried in hot oil. When it has browned on both sides, remove it in a bowl lined with a napkin.
Serve with the desired garnish, I served next to some mushrooms stuffed with melted cheese, some natural potatoes and an appetizing garlic sauce (I'm going to post the recipe).
Good appetite.
